Broncos Prepare To Close Out Conference Play at Idaho
BOISE, Idaho After coming off of a three-game sweep over conference foe La Tech, the Boise State volleyball team now looks to close out the regular season on a high note when the Broncos take on cross-state rival Idaho, Saturday at 7 p.m. (PT). However, before stepping foot on the Palouse, the Broncos will face Eastern Washington, Thursday at 6 p.m. (PT).
“The team has been working hard all year and they’re not burned out,” said head coach Robin Davis. “We are at the end of the season and the team is feeling that, but they played with great intensity and at a good level Saturday night. We’re just looking forward to continuing with it. The team has enough character to know that they can play like they did on Saturday night and finish strong. We’re going to play a good Eastern Washington team and then a good Idaho team on the road.”
This marks the first meeting against Eastern Washington since the 2005 season, when the Broncos fell to the Eagles 1-3. The Broncos faced Idaho earlier this season and were swept by the Vandals in three games.
