BOISE, Idaho The Boise State volleyball team did it’s best to stay on pace with No. 13 New Mexico State, but despite their best effort, the Broncos fell to the Aggies in three with scores of 18-30, 24-30 and 19-30, Thursday.

Leading the offensive front for the Broncos was Jeanette Jenkins as she hit .278 on the night, with six kills. Junior setter Mandy Klein recorded 16 assists, while senior Tiffany Starring tallied a pair of aces against the Aggies.

Defensively, Jeanene Rose led the attack for Boise State as she notched seven digs, while teammates Lauren Hamm and Klein each recorded five digs. Blocking was a group effort for the Broncos as Robyn Hewitt, Sadie Maughan and Jenkins all tallied three blocks a piece.

The Broncos now prepare to take on Louisiana Tech in their final home game of the 2007 season, Saturday, at 7 p.m.
