BOISE, Idaho - The Broncos take to the road this week as they head down to the Bay Area to take on San Jose State, Thursday, before heading to Reno to face-off against Nevada, Saturday.
“I feel like we might be in a place to compete a little better than we did last weekend, so we’re excited to go,” said head coach Robin Davis. “We’re pretty good on the road. We don’t have any troubles on the road, so we’ll see how good San Jose State is.”
This marks the second meeting between the two schools this season, with the Broncos falling to the Wolf Pack 1-3 in their first meeting in September. A few weeks ago, Boise State hosted the Spartans, dropping the match in three games.

The play of his team...
“I think the resolve that our team has is unbelievable. We’re really happy with how we’re working in the practice gym, with other players getting a chance to play and how others have stepped up. Maren Ericson had a great match for us last week, Jeanette Jenkins hit over .300 at the O-1 outside. Our outsides did really good and our middles did a pretty good job of blocking the outside. So we’re just working on the things we didn’t do well the other night.”
