Broncos Return Home to Host Two Matches

This Week - The Boise State University volleyball team returns to Bronco Gym to host the University of Idaho (Oct. 25) and North Dakota State University (Oct. 29).

The match against Idaho is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., while the match against North Dakota State is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

The Broncos are looking to get back on track at home after dropping each if their last three road games at Hawaii, Nevada and Utah State.

Boise State is led by senior Cameron Flunder, who ranks fourth in the Western Athletic Conference with a .344 hitting percentage. Flunder’s 3.38 kills per game ranks 10th in the WAC.

Sophomore Mandy Klein ranks fifth in the WAC in both assists (9.59 per game) and service aces (0.39 per game). Senior Jackie Stroud ranks sixth in the WAC with 4.35 digs per game.

The Teams - Idaho (6-13 overall, 5-2 WAC) split last week’s games with Utah State and Nevada. The Vandals defeated the Aggies in four games and lost to the Wolf Pack in five. The Vandals are led by Haley Larson (3.59 kills per game), Kelsey James (7.89 assists per game) and Stacy Sode (5.00 digs per game).

North Dakota State has won eight of its last nine games. Last week the Bison defeated Texas-Pan American in three straight. NDSU is led by Sheila Parrish (4.47 kills per game), Mattie Johnson (11.79 assists per game) and Kari Fagnan (4.80 digs per game).
