BOISE, Idaho The Boise State volleyball team kept on pace with cross-state rival Idaho, but fell to the Vandals in three games with scores of 28-30, 25-30, 18-30, Saturday.
Setting the pace for the Broncos was Mandy Klein with 32 assists while sophomore Elise Ardron led the attack with a hitting percentage of .357 (7-2-14). Junior Jeanette Jenkins led Boise State with 10 kills while freshman Alisha King tallied 9 kills of her own.
Defensively, freshman Lauren Hamm and junior Kristen Voyson led the Broncos with 10 digs each. Hamm also recorded three service aces on the night, while Elise Ardron and Jamie Claussen added a pair of their own, bringing the Broncos’ total to seven aces.
The Broncos now prepare to host conference foes Hawaii, Thurs., Oct. 11 and San Jose State, Sat. Oct. 13.
