Remy enters record book for career digs with 1,022 ranking her 10th all-time.
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's volleyball team won its home opener Monday night in straight sets defeating Weber State 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-12) in a nonconference match at Bronco Gym. Elizabeth Griffin and Breann Nesselhuf led the Broncos with 10 kills apiece. The straight-set victory was the second of the year over the Wildcats and the sixth this season as Boise State improved to 10-5 overall and 1-1 in league. The Broncos will continue the four-match homestand this Thursday with their first Mountain West contest in Bronco Gym when the TCU Horned Frogs (14-1, 1-0 MW) come to town, followed by New Mexico (7-4, 0-1 MW) Saturday night.
"It was nice to play at home finally after a long road swing," said head coach Shawn Garus. "I thought we were a little nervous and tight at first in front of the home crowd, but we played through it and got the win at home. We hit the ball well with Bree (Breann Nesselhuf), Brittany (Reardon) and Liz (Harden) all hitting above .470. It was a nice way to bounce back heading into the weekend against TCU and New Mexico."

Boise State extended its match lead to 2-0 with a hard fought set two defeating the Wildcats by three 25-22. Following the break the Broncos came out fast jumping out to a quick 6-1 lead and never looked back as they swept the match with a 25-12 third set victory.
