Broncos Fall To No. 15 Hawaii

HONOLULU, Hawaii - Despite putting up a tough fight against No. 15 Hawai’i, the Boise State volleyball team fell to the Warriors in three games, with scores of 28-30, 22-30 and 24-30.

Setter Mandy Klein set the pace for the Broncos posting 33 assists, while teammate Robyn Hewitt hit an impressive .636 (7-0-11) on the night. Adding to the offensive attack was sophomore Arlee Tamietti, who tallied 13 kills.

Freshmen Lauren Hamm and Sadie Maughan led the defensive front for the Broncos as Hamm notched a team-high 12 digs and Maughan posted six blocks.

The Broncos now return home to prepare to host Fresno State and Nevada for their first match at home in nearly three weeks.
