MOSCOW, Idaho - Boise State’s volleyball team swept Eastern Washington in straight sets 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 Saturday afternoon at the Nike Invitational in Moscow. Boise State took momentum early in the first set and never let up as the Broncos dominated the Eagles. The victory improves the Blue and Orange to 4-5 on the year with a trip to Corpus Christi, Texas, for the Islander Classic on the slate next weekend. 
Freshman Sierra Nobley continues to lead the Broncos in the early going recording the match-high in kills for the sixth time in nine contests finishing with 15 against Eastern Washington. The outside hitter also hit a career-best 54.2 percent with three assists, two service aces, five digs and two blocks. She finished the tournament with a team-high 41 kills and team-best eight aces.
Hannah Hubbard added a team-high 15 digs in the Broncos defensive efforts. She was also named to the Nike Invitational All-Tournament Team for her performance over the past two days and three matches recording a  team-high 43 digs. 
Katelyn Kinghorn backed Nobley with nine kills while hitting a career-tying 75 percent, she added two digs and two blocks. Kaitlyn Oliver followed with seven kills and team-high six blocks, a team high. Sarah Baugh distributed 36 assists and tallied three kills, five digs and four blocks. 
Boise State hit 43 percent with 47 kills, 42 assists, four aces, 39 digs and 10 blocks. Eastern Washington hit 21 percent and tallied 38 kills, 37 assists, one ace, 27 digs and four blocks. Allie Schumacher led the Eagles with 14 kills.
