Broncos Drop Conference Opener To Utah State

LOGAN, Idaho -  The Boise State volleyball opened conference play against Utah State falling to the Aggies in three games with scores of 26-30, 16-30 and 21-30.

Sophomore Arlee Tamietti led the offensive front with nine kills while teammate Jeanette Jenkins tallied eight. Setter Mandy Klein continued to climb her way up the record books as she notched 19 assists on the night.

Defensively, freshman Lauren Hamm led the attack for the Broncos posting 11 digs and Sadie Maughan tallied a career-high seven blocks.

The Broncos now prepare to face-off against No. 15 Hawai’i, Sat., Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
