DAVIS, Calif. -  The Boise State volleyball team dropped their final match of the UC Davis Aggie Hallmark Inn Invitational to San Francisco, Saturday.

 

In their final game of the tournament, the Broncos fell to the Dons in three games with scores of 28-30, 18-30, 25-30.

 

Freshman Sadie Maughan led the team offensively as she posted a hitting-percentage of .368 (9-2-19), while sophomore Arlee Tamietti tallied a hitting-percentage of .348 (9-1-23).  Also aiding the offense was Alisha King with 10 kills of her own.

 

Mandy Klein continues to chase the assists record as she posted 32 against the Dons.

 

Defensively, Lauren Hamm led the Broncos with 19 digs while teammate Jeanette Jenkins tallied nine.

 

The Broncos now prepare to open the regular season next week when they travel to Utah to take on Utah State, Sept. 13, before heading to Hawaii to face the Warriors, Sept. 15.
