CONWAY, Ark. - Boise State volleyball cruised past the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-16) Saturday morning to complete the Sears Sugar Bear Classic in Conway, Ark. Boise State dominated all three sets winning by an average of 11 points per set. Alyssa Gammel led the Broncos with eight kills, nine digs and two blocks, while Maddy O'Donnell added seven kills and one block against ULM. The win gives Boise State a 2-1 mark on the weekend and moves the Broncos to 3-3 overall.
"Great team effort. Really proud of the focus our team showed to respond after a tough loss yesterday with two wins," said head coach Shawn Garus. "We need to get back in the gym next week to keep improving in preparation for another tough tournament."
The victory was a group effort with Kaitlyn Oliver, Sierra Nobley and Laney Hayes backing up Gammel and O'Donnell with six kills each. Oliver added a team-high (tied) two blocks against ULM. 
Sarah Baugh contributed to the win with a team-best 32 assists to go with eight digs. Hannah Hubbard recorded the high in digs with 10, Gammel's nine digs were second followed by Baugh's total. 
Boise State finished the day hitting a good 46.8 percent with 43 kills, 42 assists, three service aces, 39 digs and four blocks. ULM was held to 12 percent hitting for 27 kills, while the Warhawks added two aces, 25 digs and two blocks to their team totals. ULM had four players record five kills each to lead the team against the Broncos. 

Tournament Recap
On the weekend Boise State was a few scoring plays short of perfection falling in a heartbreaker Friday morning to Tulsa in five sets before rebounding for two consecutive victories. The Broncos regrouped with a four-set win Friday night over the two-time defending Southland Conference champions and 2014 preseason favorites in Central Arkansas.

Freshman Sierra Nobley led the team for the second weekend with 38 kills (3.17 kps), hitting 26 percent. She also had one ace, 13 digs and seven blocks, two solo. Alyssa Gammel had a solid weekend as well with 32 kills (2.67 kps), two assists, two aces, 30 digs and seven blocks.
Kaitlyn Oliver contributed 25 kills while hitting 46.5 percent, she added a team-high (tied) nine blocks. Maddy O'Donnell matched Oliver's block total to tie for the lead, while hitting a team-high 50 percent for 23 kills. The sophomore from Irvine, Calif., also had a team-best six service aces and six digs.
Junior setter Sarah Baugh continues to shine dishing out a combined 127 assists, including a career-high 53 against Tulsa on Friday. The native of Poulsbo, Wash., also tallied eight kills, three aces, 26 digs and eight blocks.  Hannah Hubbard recorded a team-high 41 digs  and 12 assists.
