Ten Questions with Kaitlyn...

Q: Why did you choose Boise State?

A: I chose Boise State because of the great atmosphere and how supportive the community is of all the student-athletes. The fans serve such a huge roll for Boise State and we couldn't ask for more supportive fans. I also immediately loved the campus and the city when I came on my visit, and I knew Boise was exactly where I wanted to be. I'm so proud to call myself a Bronco.
Q: What's been your favorite thing about Boise so far?

A: My favorite part about Boise is how much of a college town it is. It's great to see people wearing Boise State gear wherever you go. The school spirit provided by all the fans here is amazing and creates such a fun environment to play in.
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of volleyball?

A: Outside of volleyball I like to do outdoor activities such as float the river or go to the lake, and of course hang out with friends.
Q: Which teammate would win at "America's Next Top Model"?

A: Coach Garus!
Q: What song gets you pumped up before a match?

A: No Mediocre- T.I.
Q: What is your motto?

A: "Do the best you can do in whatever you're trying to do and never give up. Success is not by chance it's by choice."
Q: Who is your hero in life?

A: My hero in my life is my grandpa. He was such a strong and inspiring person and he gives me strength each and every day to never give up.
Q: If I could spend one day in history it would be with, why that person?

A: If I could spend one day in history, it would be with Albert Einstein. It would be interesting to see what someone with a mind like his did on an average day. Maybe some of his smarts would rub off on me!
Q: Who has been the most influential figure in your life so far?

A: The most influential figure in my life would have to be my parents. They have always pushed me to be the best I could be, at sports and in life. They have been my number one supporters since day one and have helped me reach my dreams. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
Q: Looking to the future, what do you want to do in your life beyond college?

A: Beyond college I want to have a loving family of my own, and find a well-paying job that I enjoy doing. Another thing I would love to do is travel and see different places around the world!
