Volleyball Holds Blue & Orange Scrimmage

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State volleyball team will hold its annual Blue & Orange Scrimmage this Thursday in Bronco Gym. The match begins at 5 p.m. and will last until around 7 p.m. This scrimmage is open to the public with free admission. There will also be a meet and greet with autograph session directly following the match.

This will be the first time this year to see the Broncos who have been picked to battle Colorado State for the Mountain West championship this fall. Boise State was picked second in the conference’s preseason coaches poll which was released this morning (Aug. 17). In the poll the Broncos were four points behind the seven-time defending MW champion Rams.

Thursday night will also be the last time that Bronco Nation can see the volleyball team in action until mid-September when the Broncos host the Boise State Classic the 15-17th. The Broncos will start the season with three straight road tournaments before their first home match.
