BOISE, Idaho - Boise State volleyball head coach Shawn Garus announced a late addition to his volleyball squad today as Erienne Barry (St. Charles, Ill.) signed a financial aid agreement Friday afternoon. She will join the Broncos for preseason training and is eligible to play this season.

Barry is a transfer from Western Michigan University where she redshirted last year as a true freshman. The 6-foot setter has four years of eligibility left to play for the Broncos.

As a senior she recorded 18 kills, 353 assists (7.5 aps), 15 service aces and 12 blocks. Her final year saw SCEHS go 20-11 overall and 12-5 in conference, win the regional championship and advance to the sectional semifinals in the 4A classification. During her career the Saints won four regional championships, two sectional championships, and two Upstate 8 Conference championships.

Barry finished her career ranked seventh all-time in career assists in Illinois high school history with 2,722. Her high school honors were numerous and include: Named a 2013 Prepvolleyball.com Senior Ace, named to the 2012 Chicago Sun-Times Top 50, 2012 Upstate 8 All-Conference player, two-time All-Area First Team by the Kane County Chronicle, the Republican, the Sun-Times Courier, and the Daily Herald.
