PHOENIX, Ariz. (9/20/2015) - Sierra Nobley led Boise State volleyball Sunday afternoon with 14 kills as the Broncos swept the Grand Canyon Antelopes 25-10, 25-21, 25-15 to close the GCU Invitational in Phoenix. The match was all Broncos as they dominated the first and third sets with GCU's only run coming in the four-point second. Boise State hit 44.3 percent versus the Antelopes and held GCU to 19.6 percent as the blue and orange claimed its seventh victory in last eight contests.

The win makes the Broncos 8-4 overall to close nonconference play as they head into the first week of Mountain West action at Wyoming and No. 15 Colorado State this coming weekend.

Nobley hit 32.3 percent to get her 14 kills and added two assists, two service aces and eight digs against GCU.

Kaitlyn Oliver and Sabryn Roberts followed Nobley with nine kills each. Oliver hit a career-high 75 percent on the day.

Katelyn Kinghorn contributed eight kills while hitting a team and career-high 80 percent to go with 10 digs and one solo block. Maddy O'Donnell hit 46 percent to record seven kills.

Sarah Baugh dished out a team-high 39 assists in leading the Boise State attack. The senior setter also tallied six kills, seven digs and one block. Maddi Osburn finished with a team-best 13 digs.

On the day Boise State hit 44.3 percent with 53 kills, 50 assists, seven service aces, 47 digs and two blocks.

Grand Canyon was held two 19.6 percent hitting and 28 kills. The Antelopes tallied 25 assists, one service ace, 28 digs and three blocks. Natalie Tardy led GCU with 13 kills.
