EVANSTON, Illinois - The Boise State volleyball team closed the Wildcat Challenge with a loss to its host Northwestern University in straight sets (25-18, 25-17, 26-24). “Overall I thought we improved this weekend, which is what our goal is heading into conference in a couple weeks,” said head coach Shawn Garus. “Northwestern has a solid program and played well today. We will learn from this match and use it as we prepare for our tournament (Courtyard Marriott Bronco Volleyball Classic) next weekend.  We have one week left before league starts beginning with a big match Thursday against Idaho in Bronco Gym.”
