Roghaar to Coach Regional Team
Dec. 1, 2016

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State women’s tennis head coach Beck Roghaar was selected to coach the USTA Intermountain Team at the prestigious Pacific Cup, held Dec. 2-4, in Beaverton, Ore. The Pacific Cup features the top boys and girls in the 12, 14, 16 and 18-year-old age divisions from the four regions in the Western United States.

Roghaar and the team from the Intermountain Region will take on teams from the Pacific Northwest, Northern California and Southern California Regions. Teams will compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

"I'm very proud and honored to have been selected to represent the Intermountain squad at this year's Pacific Cup,” Roghaar said. “Growing up competing as a junior tennis player in the Intermountain section myself makes it even more special for me. These events help shape young junior players' team experience which becomes incredibly important as many of them transition into what becomes a team sport in college. The team opportunities are few and far between in tennis, so I really love to be a part of those and help promote how incredible that team experience can be."

All matches will be played at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center.
