Boise State Has Midland Invite in Its Sights

What’s Happening Two members of the Boise State University women’s tennis team will traveling to Midland, Texas, Oct. 13-15, to compete in the Midland Collegiate Invitational.


The Field The tournament will feature 10 teams including Boise State, New Mexico, Texas A&M, USC, Pepperdine, Texas-Arlington, Rice, Baylor, LSU and UCLA.

The Players The Bronco will send teammates Tatiana Ganzha and Polina Kokoulina to compete in the singles and doubles competition.

The duo who both hail from St. Petersburg, Russia, has compiled a 3-2 record in doubles competition this fall season and advanced to the finals of the Brigham Young Invitational in September. 

Last Time Out - At the Jack Taylor Classic the partners turned in a victory against Washington State’s Amy Toth and Aleksandra Stefanova.  Ganzha also posted a perfect 3-0 record in singles play at the tournament.
