WHAT IS HAPPENING

  • Boise State women’s tennis is off to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) Mountain Region Championships at Salt Lake City, Utah, this Wednesday through Sunday at the University of Utah. 

  • At stake is a berth into the ITA Indoor National Championships in early November at Flushing, N.Y.

  • There will be 19 schools from throughout the inter-mountain west including the states of Idaho, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and New Mexico, as well as UTEP and Northern Arizona.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

  • The tournament will feature one draw for both singles and doubles.

  • Each day will begin with doubles play at 9 a.m. MT, followed by singles play.

  • The singles draw will have 112 participants that will compete over the five days.

  • The doubles draw will feature 56 teams.
