Boise State women's tennis is set for its only home tournament of the 2015 fall season. The Broncos host the Jack Taylor Classic Sept. 25-27, welcoming Eastern Washington, Montana and Weber State to town. Matches start at 9 a.m. each day.

The singles draw is divided into two flights (Blue and Orange). There will be one doubles draw. The tournament will start with doubles competition Friday at 9 a.m., on all six courts. It will be the only doubles action of the day. Blue Flight singles will take the courts at 10 a.m., followed immediately by Orange Flight singles as each court finishes.

LAST WEEK: Boise State traveled to the BYU Invitational last weekend, to open the fall season. Teal Vosburgh advanced to the championship match in singles, while Nancy Menjivar played through to the consolation final.

VOSBURGH HEADED TO ITA: Teal Vosburgh was invited to compete at the ITA All-American Championships prequalifier. Vosburgh will begin play Oct. 3, at Pepperdine. From the prequalifier she would advance to the qualifying rounds, and eventually the main draw. The qualifier and main draw will be played in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

VENTER JOINS PROGRAM: Kirsty Venter joined the Boise State women's tennis program this fall as a freshman. Venter, from Edinburgh, Scotland, is the first Bronco women's tennis student-athlete from Scotland in program history. She is also a member of Scotland's Touch Rugby National Team.
