The Broncos Open the Fall Season at BYU

What’s Happening - The Boise State University women’s tennis team will travel to Provo, Utah to compete in the Brigham Young Invitational Sept. 22-23. This is the first competition for Boise State in the 2006 Fall season.

The Teams- The Broncos will be joined by six other teams including Western Athletic Conference rival Utah State as well as Washington State, Colorado State, Utah, Weber State and host BYU.

Last season Head Coach Mark Tichenor guided Boise State to a second place finish in the WAC.

The Players - Boise State will send senior Stacey Housley, junior Polina Kokoulina, sophomores Jana Mackova, Tatiana Ganzha, Carolyn Berry and freshman Bianca Jochimsen to Provo, Utah.

Last season Ganzha captured the singles title of the B bracket in her second event as a Bronco. She was also named WAC Player of the month for Sept. She also captured a doubles title with teammate Mackova at Washington State University’s annual Cougar Classic.
