Hanna Kantenwein returns for her sophomore year after earning All-MW honors as a freshman

MEET THE BRONCOS: Six Broncos will represent Boise State women's tennis this fall, including five returners from a year ago. Milena Toseva begins her senior season, while juniors Nancy Menjivar and Arianna Paules Aldrey join Toseva as upperclassmen. Hanna Kantenwein is back for her sophomore season after earning All-Mountain West singles honors as a freshman. Kirsty Venter also enters her sophomore season. Freshman Lilian Poling is the lone newcomer for the fall. Poling was a five-star recruit as a prep out of West Point, N.Y.

THIS WEEK'S LINEUP: Boise State will send Kantenwein, Menjivar, Poling, Toseva and Venter to the Cougar Classic. Kantenwein, Menjivar and Poling will take part in the Crimson Singles Draw, while Toseva and Venter will play in the Gray Singles Draw. Each singles draw is a 16-person bracket. The tournament features one doubles draw, where Kentenwein will team with Toseva and Menjivar will pair with Poling. Kantenwein and Toseva earned a bye to the quarterfinals.

THE MATCHES: Play begins Friday with two rounds of singles action and one round of doubles matches. The schedule flips Saturday, with a pair of doubles matches and one singles match to set up championship Sunday. Action gets underway at 10 a.m. PT each day.
