June 5, 2015

SKILLMAN, N.J. - Three members of the Boise State women's tennis program were recognized in the final 2015 ITA Mountain Region rankings. Teal Vosburgh checked in at No. 17 in singles, while the doubles team of Bobbi Oshiro and Sammie Watson was No. 10.

There are 19 women's tennis programs in the Mountain Region. The rankings are compiled using a computer formula which puts an emphasis on best wins.

Vosburgh, an All-Mountain West selection, went 21-14 as a junior playing primarily No. 1 singles for the Broncos. She tallied an 8-11 mark in spring action, including a win at the top spot against nationally-ranked New Mexico.

A native of Katy, Texas, Vosburgh will return next season as a senior having played in the top half of the Boise State lineup her entire career.

Oshiro and Watson teamed up as the top doubles pair for the Broncos nearly all season. The duo recorded a 17-13 overall record, including a 9-11 ledger in the spring on the way to All-Mountain West recognition.

Watson finished her career during the 2014-15 season, while Oshiro will return as a senior next season.
