Broncos Sweep Wahine, Roghaar Hits 15 Wins
BOISE, Idaho - The No. 72-ranked Boise State women's tennis team took to the courts for their final regular season match on Sunday (April 24), topping Western Athletic Conference opponent Hawai'i, 7-0, at Boise State's Appleton Tennis Center. The Broncos improve to 15-7 on the season, including a 5-1 record in WAC play.
First-year head coach Beck Roghaar made history on Sunday as well, tying the Boise State record for most wins in a season by a first-year head coach. The pair of seniors helped the Broncos secure their first team point of the day, helping the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles teams to victories. Megale teamed with Marlena Pietzuch to defeat Hawaii's Barbara Pinterova and Katarina Poljakova, 8-2 in the No. 1 doubles match. Jasper joined Sandy Vo in topping UH's Alyssa Nafarrete and Aglae Van den Bergh, 8-3, in the No. 3 doubles match.

In singles play Pietzuch made quick work of Nafarrete in the No. 5 match, earning the Broncos' second team point after a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Edwards followed suit, picking up a quick 6-3, 6-2 win at the No. 4 spot over Zorec to put the Broncos up 3-0.
In the No. 6 singles match Vo topped Van den Bergh, 6-3, 6-4, while Jasper earned a solid win at the No. 3 spot to defeat Suworowa, 6-2, 6-4 and put the Broncos ahead 5-0.
