WHAT IS HAPPENING

  • The Broncos are undefeated in Mountain West play as they embark on their final two matches of the regular season.
  • The Broncos are on a three-game winning streak as they welcome New Mexico to Boise.

RECENTLY FOR THE BRONCOS
  • Boise State is 11-7 on the season and won the last three matches, including two road matches, first at Wyoming and then at Colorado State, where the Broncos battled back from 0-2 to win the match, 4-2. 
  • The Broncos had the last week off, and will head into the final two regular season matches of the season well-rested, competing at home. 

NEXT UP ON THE SCHEDULE
The Broncos will close out the regular season at home vs. Utah State on April 21 - 12 p.m. MT.
The Broncos will then stay at home as they host the 2018 Mountain West Conference Women’s Tennis Championships, April 26-29 at Appleton Tennis Center and Julia Davis Park.

BRONCO LEADERS
  • Freshman Wilhelmina Palmer has been a strong addition for the Broncos, impressing with a record of 11-3 in dual matches this season. She is 3-0 in Mountain West play and at the No. 1 spot is 3-1 on the season, from the No. 2 spot she is 6-1. 
  • Sophomore Anja Dokic has also been impressive. She is 10-6 in duals, and 8-3 when playing at the No. 1 spot. She is also 3-0 in Mountain West play. 
  • Senior Nancy Menjivar has been outstanding, clinching the last two matches for the Broncos from the No. 6 spot in the lineup. She boasts a team-high four-match winning streak and is 7-2 in her last 10 matches.

LOCKDOWN DOUBLES
  • The Broncos have excelled in doubles all season, and won seven-straight doubles points until the streak was snapped in the last match at Colorado State. 
  • The Broncos have used 14 different doubles combinations this season, and overall are 33-20 in dual match action across all three courts. The No. 2 singles pairing has been the most successful this season, boasting a 13-5 record. 
  • The No. 1 singles combo of Anja Dokic/Wiktoria Nosek is 7-7 this season from that slot, and 6-4 in their last 10 matches. The recent pairing of Nancy Menjivar/Vanessa Timm at No. 3 singles has ben strong, as they are 3-0 on the season. Wilhelmina Palmer/Lilian Poling has been a strong pairing at No. 2 singles, and they are 5-1 on the season . Palmer/Menjivar at No. 2 singles is also 5-2 on the season.

Sophomore Jovana Kuljanin is the captain of the Broncos for the 2018 season.
