THE MATCH: Boise State women's tennis travels to Montana State for its final nonconference match of the season Saturday, at 10 a.m. MT, in Bozeman, Mont. The Broncos (7-8) are 3-0 this season against Big Sky competition, including a road win against Idaho State.

ABOUT THE BOBCATS: Montana State enters the weekend 6-12 on the year with a 4-4 mark in Big Sky matches. Laura Middel leads the charge for the Bobcats with a 10-8 mark, including a 9-3 record playing at No. 2 singles. Middel is 7-1 in Big Sky competition and teams with Naomi Holopainen to make Montana State's top doubles team which is 13-4 this spring.

LAST TIME OUT: Boise State women's tennis split two road matches in Southern California during spring break. The Broncos extended their win streak to three matches with an 8-1 decision March 23, at Westmont. The teams used the NAIA-preferred nine-point scoring format in which each doubles match counts for a full team point. After Boise State took the first two doubles matches, Westmont’s top pair got the Warriors- ranked No. 10 in the NAIA national poll- on the board with an 8-3 win. The teams headed to singles with Boise State clinging to a one-point lead, but the Broncos responded by sweeping the singles competition. The win streak was halted by No. 69 UC Santa Barbara Thursday, in Santa Barbara, Calif. The Broncos fell 6-1, picking up a win from Hanna Kantenwein at No. 1 singles.

HOME STRETCH: The Broncos finish the season with five conference matches, including three at home. Next week Boise State hosts No. 45 New Mexico (April 8, noon MT) and Air Force (April 10, 10 a.m. MT). The following week will send the Broncos on a Front Range road swing at Wyoming (April 15) and Colorado State (April 17). The regular season finishes with a home match April 23, against Utah State. The 2 p.m. match will also be Senior Day for three Broncos playing the final home match of their careers.
