THE MATCHES: Boise State women's tennis opens a four-match home stand Friday, against BYU. The Broncos host the Cougars at 5 p.m., at the Appleton Outdoor Tennis Center (weather permitting). Boise State (4-5) also welcomes UNLV Sunday at 9 a.m., for the first Mountain West match of the season.

OUTDOOR OPENER: Boise State will play outdoors for the first time this season, provided the weather holds out. Rain is in the forecast. Stay tuned to BroncoSports.com and on Twitter @BroncoSportsWTN for updates about the match location.

PARKING: Parking for home women's tennis matches played outdoors will be available in the West Stadium Lot, between Albertsons Stadium and Taco Bell Arena. Parking is free, but patrons will need to utilize the pay stations to ensure their vehicles are not ticketed. Patrons will need to remember their space number, enter it into the kiosk, then select the tennis tab.

HOME SWEET HOME: Boise State is 3-0 at home this season. The Broncos were 8-4 at home last season and 8-3 the year before.

ABOUT BYU: The Cougars are 2-8 on the season with wins over Maryland and San Francisco. BYU owns a 14-3 edge in the all-time series, including a 6-1 win over the Broncos last year, in Provo. The Cougars will take on UNLV Saturday.

ABOUT UNLV: The Rebels enter the weekend with a 13-0 record. They have played 12 home matches this season. UNLV has recorded six sweeps on the year and has not conceded more than two points in any match. Top singles player Carol Zi Yang checks in at No. 63 in the latest ITA rankings. UNLV will take on BYU Saturday, before facing Boise State Sunday, in the Broncos' conference opener.

LOOKING AHEAD: Boise State will remain at home next week. The Broncos will take on College of Idaho (Thursday, March 17; 6 p.m.) and Lewis-Clark State (Friday, March 18; 6 p.m.).
