  • The Broncos (4-6) close out a two week homestand this weekend when they host the Idaho State Bengals (0-4) at 1 p.m. on Friday and No. 68 Denver (5-5) at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
  • Both matches will be held at the Appleton Outdoor Tennis Center weather permitting. Broncos are looking to regroup following a four-match losing streak, two of those came last weekend against Fresno State and No. 44 Colorado.


  • Boise State will travel to Seattle, Wash., for two matches next week against Portland and No. 40 Washington.

  • The Broncos were home for two matches last week falling in the Mountain West Conference opener 5-2 to Fresno State (Feb. 27), followed by a 4-1 defeated Sunday afternoon to then-No. 44 Colorado.
  • Against Fresno State the Broncos recorded singles victories by Bobbi Oshiro 7-6 (5), 6-1 and Sammie Watson 6-3, 6-3.
  • In the Colorado match Boise State earned the team doubles point with wins by Megan LaLone/Arianna Paules Aldrey 6-3 and Teal Vosburgh/Milena Toseva 7-5.

  • The Record: Boise State enters the weekend 4-6 overall.
  • Last Year: The Broncos went 13-10 overall during 2014 and 4-3 versus Mountain West opponents.
  • The Broncos at Home: Boise State is currently 4-2 at home this year and went 10-4 at home last season competing at both the Boas Indoor Tennis Center and the Appleton Outdoor Tennis Center.
  • Attendance: Boise State finished the 2014 campaign ranked third nationally in total attendance, while the men came in at fourth.
  • The Broncos on the Road: The Broncos are 0-4 on the road this year.
  • Last Year on the Road: The Broncos went 3-6 on the road in 2014.
  • The Coach: Beck Roghaar is in his fifth season as head coach at Boise State where he is 55-46 overall in team duals, his career mark is the same.

  • Megan LaLone received her first experience on court one Sunday against Colorado falling in two sets ... she is now 5-3 in singles this spring playing primarily on courts three through five, she is 18-7 overall on the year.
  • Junior Bobbi Oshiro split last weekend to improve to 15-5 overall in singles and has gone 5-3 this spring.

  • Boise State has three players regionally ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Regional rankings come out once in the spring semester just before the season starts, they are based on fall results.
  • Singles: Junior Teal Vosburgh went 12-3 in the fall season and begins the 2015 dual season ranked 16th in the ITA Mountain Region, she is the only Bronco ranked for singles.
  • Doubles: The doubles team of senior Sammie Watson and junior Bobbi Oshiro enter the year ranked eighth in the region after going 8-2 during the fall semester.
