Broncos Fall to No. 30 Pepperdine
MALIBU, Calif. - The Boise State women's tennis team (5-2) was hit by a tidal wave in its first road match of the season, Friday as the Broncos fell to No. 30 Pepperdine 7-0.

The Broncos began the doubles matches competitively, but Pepperdine pulled away to win each of the three.

Marlena Pietzuch (6-1) dropped her first singles match of the season, playing at the No. 1 spot for the Broncos. The junior fell 6-0, 6-2 to Ale Granillo, the 95th-ranked player in the nation.

The women's team will be back in action, Saturday against stiff competition when it takes on No. 21 Arizona State at noon (PT).
