THE MATCH: Boise State women's tennis starts a four-match home stand this weekend, hosting Lewis-Clark State and Montana State. The Broncos (5-2) take on the Warriors Friday, at 5:30 p.m. MT, before facing the Bobcats Saturday, at 2 p.m. MT.

LAST TIME OUT: Boise State women's tennis saw its four-match winning streak come to an end Saturday, at BYU. The Broncos suffered a 4-0 sweep in their first road match of the season. The Cougars won the doubles point, then took singles matches on courts one, two and four.

ABOUT LCSC: The Warriors are ranked No. 23 in the latest national NAIA poll. LCSC is 1-5 on the year, having lost to five NCAA Division I teams. A 6-3 win over Whitworth in their last outing (Feb. 12), marked the Warriors' first match against a fellow NAIA program.

ABOUT MONTANA STATE: The Bobcats are off to a 4-2 start, including 2-0 in Big Sky Conference matches. Montana State has won at least four singles matches in all four wins, led by Chloe Goyette's 5-1 record at the No. 2 position.

GOOD START: Boise State won five of its first six matches to start the spring season, its best start since 2013. The Broncos won four-straight matches from Feb. 3 to Feb. 12. The streak included a Feb. 10 win against Portland, which had defeated Boise State each of the previous two seasons.

HOME COOKING: The Broncos played their first six spring matches at home this season, and are now set to begin a four-match home stand. Boise State is hosting 13 home matches total this season, including two Pac-12 opponents (Colorado and Oregon) and perennial top-50 programs in Portland and Denver.

YOUTH IS SERVED: Boise State women's tennis features four freshmen, two sophomores and two juniors. The incoming group was named the No. 25 recruiting class in the country last season and sophomore Hanna Kantenwein returns after being named All-Mountain West as a freshman.

Boise State women’s tennis finished nonconference play with an exclamation point Saturday, sweeping Montana State 7-0 in Bozeman, Mont. The Broncos (8-8) dominated from start to finish, winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
