ABOUT THE MATCHES: Boise State women's tennis will host its first full weekend of home matches as Idaho State and South Dakota come to town. The Broncos (2-3) and Bengals (2-3) square off Friday at 6 p.m. at Crane Creek Country Club. Boise State will host South Dakota (3-3) Sunday, at 9 a.m. at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. Idaho State and South Dakota will meet in a neutral-site match Saturday, at 11 a.m. at Boas.

Broncos Roll in Pocatello
Boise State women’s tennis emphatically returned to the win column Saturday, with a 6-1 victory at Idaho State. The Broncos (2-2) rolled to the doubles point and wins at the top five singles spots.

TRAEJEN KINGSTON: Boise State will have an honorary coach join the team on the sidelines Friday, against Idaho State. Local youth tennis player Traejen Kingston is battling a serious kidney condition, but over the last three years has dedicated himself to helping the Broncos as an honorary coach at a home match each season. Boise State is 2-0 with Traejen as a coach. "He has been a huge supporter of Bronco tennis and is a big inspiration to our players," said head coach Beck Roghaar.

WE MEET AGAIN: Boise State and Idaho State are meeting for the second time this season. The Broncos cruised to a 6-1 victory Feb. 6, in Pocatello. Boise State swept the doubles matches and won at the top five singles positions for the emphatic win.

KANTENWEIN PLAYS NO. 1: Freshman Hanna Kantenwein made her first appearance at the top of Boise State's singles lineup Saturday, at Utah. Kantenwein defeated Margo Pletcher 7-5, 2-6, 10-2 and improved to 3-2 on the year in singles competition. The freshman started at No. 3 singles where she went 1-1 before moving up to No. 2 where she also went 1-1 before getting the call to top the Broncos' singles lineup.
