Sandy Vo Named MW Player of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State junior Sandy Vo has been selected as the Mountain West Women's Tennis Player of the Week for competition from Feb. 1-4, 2013. It is the first MW weekly honor for Vo and Boise State this season.

Vo, from Melbourne, Australia, led Boise State to a opening weekend sweep of Weber State (7-0) and Seattle (7-0) at home in the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. The junior won both of her singles matches for the Broncos defeating Weber State's Kristi Elmer at No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4. Then on Sunday against Seattle's No. 1 singles player, Lindsey Newman, Vo again won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Playing No. 2 doubles with Morgan Basil for both matches the duo turned back Weber State's Ashley Tanner and Michelle Warwick, 8-5, and also blanked Seattle's Newman and Sarah Lucas, 8-0.
