Inclement Weather Cancels Women's Tennis Matches

BOISE, Idaho The Boise State women’s tennis matches scheduled for February 1-3 at the BSU Boas Tennis Center have been canceled due to inclement weather. The Broncos were scheduled to face Montana State and Idaho at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively.

Matches between Montana State, Idaho and Idaho State, which were also scheduled throughout the weekend, have been canceled as well.

BSU’s head women’s tennis coach Mark Tichenor hopes to reschedule the matches later in the season to make up for the loss this weekend.

With the cancellations, the Broncos will begin their season on the road at the University of Oregon. The match, originally scheduled for Sunday, February 3, will be played on Wednesday, February 6 at 5 p.m. at Oregon’s Student Tennis Center.

The Broncos will return home on Saturday, February 9 to host at Eastern Washington (9:30 a.m.) and Utah (5 p.m.). EWU will face Utah at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 10 at the BSU Boas Tennis Center.
