Menjivar Wins Twice, Toseva Honored
Milena Toseva received the MTC Sportsmanship Award

MILWAUKEE - Nancy Menjivar recorded wins in singles and doubles Sunday, leading Boise State on the final day of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. Milena Toseva was awarded the tournament’s sportsmanship award for the women’s draw.

The Broncos faced Wisconsin in doubles, before taking on Ball State in singles. Menjivar teamed with Lilian Poling to win 6-3, the second win of the weekend for the duo. Menjivar then rallied for a three-set win in singles (3-6, 6-4, 6-4).

Kirsty Venter also posted her second singles victory in as many days. Venter won 6-0, 6-4 in her final match of the weekend.

Boise State will continue its fall season next weekend, traveling to the Army Invite in West Point, N.Y. Poling, a freshman, is from West Point where her father is the men’s coach at Army.
