MILWAUKEE - Freshman Lilian Poling led the way for Boise State women's tennis Saturday, winning in singles and doubles on the second day of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. Poling and the Broncos faced Wisconsin in singles. The freshman won her singles duel in an up-and-down three-set match. After cruising through the first set 6-1, Poling dropped a tiebreaker in the second but rebounded with another 6-1 win in the third. The Badgers captured the other three singles matches. Nancy Menjivar took the first set of her match before falling in three 1-6, 6-2, 6-3. Milena Toseva and Kirsty Venter were each defeated in straight sets. The Broncos took on Marquette in doubles and mixed up their pairings from Friday. Menjivar and Poling skated to a 6-1 victory. Toseva and Venter dropped a tightly-contested 7-5 match. The Milwaukee Tennis Classic wraps up Sunday. Boise State will be in action at 9 am CT (doubles vs Wisconsin) and 11 am CT (singles vs Ball State).
