BOISE, Idaho (4/12/2015) - Sammie Watson and Kaitlyn Brown both won singles matches to lead Boise State past the College of Idaho 7-0 on Senior Day at the Appleton Tennis Center. Boise State won the doubles point then followed that with a sweep in singles as the Broncos improved to 9-11 overall.

"It's hard to know where to begin when talking about our seniors this year. They both epitomize and embody what being a Bronco is all about," said coach Roghaar. "The people and players that they have grown into over their last few years here is just incredible. Sammie is one of the most consistent competitors I have ever coached and it's a characteristic and trait that will make her very successful in her life beyond tennis. Kaitlyn's attitude and approach to life is just a joy to be around. She is one of the most improved player's in a four-year span that I've ever seen and I'm so proud to have had the opportunity to coach both of these incredible young ladies. They have both truly made their mark in our program and will leave wonderful legacies that they can be very proud of. We will miss them very much next year."

Senior Day began with a sweep in doubles as the Broncos won all three matches. Bobbi Oshiro and Sammie Watson were the first off the court winning 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. That was followed by 6-1 wins on courts two and three by Arianna Paules Aldrey and Teal Vosburgh at the twos, while Brown and Megan LaLone won at No. 3 doubles.

Watson closed her senior day as the first Bronco off in singles defeating the C of I's Shae Stults 6-0, 6-2 on court two. Freshman Naomi de Hart was next winning in straight sets on court four 6-0, 6-1 over Allie Boyd.

Sophomore Milena Toseva brought in the clinching team point with her 6-2, 6-0 victory on court three defeating the Coyotes Laura Humphreys.
