BOISE, Idaho - Boise State women’s tennis cruised to a 7-0 win Friday, against Lewis-Clark State at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. The Broncos (6-7) won each singles match in straight sets. “We’re happy to win a couple of matches here at home,” said head coach Beck Roghaar. “Now we get to gear up and set our sights on a few big road matches as we look to finish nonconference strong.” Nancy Menjivar was the most efficient Bronco on the night, concluding her matches first in both doubles and singles. Menjivar paired with Kirsty Venter at No. 3 doubles and teamed up for a 6-1 victory. She then took the court at No. 4 singles and rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 win. The sophomore was awarded the Bronco Bandana for her efforts. “Nancy is really starting to have some of the things we’ve worked on in practice show up on the court,” said Roghaar. “It gives us confidence in her and it gives Nancy confidence in her ability to get the job done.” The Broncos have won the doubles point in three consecutive matches. Boise State will hit the road for spring break next week, heading to Southern California. The Broncos take on Westmont (March 23) and UC Santa Barbara (March 24)
