Broncos Fall to Colorado

BOULDER, Colo. - Boise State women’s tennis fell 7-0 to Colorado, Sunday at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center. The Broncos (1-2) forced a third set in two singles matches but came up short.

Freshman Hanna Kantenwein moved up to No. 2 singles and went to the wire against Nuria Ormeno Ruiz. Eventually Ruiz prevailed with a 6-1, 5-7, 7-5 victory. Bobbi Oshiro suffered her first singles loss of the year despite getting to a third set on court four.

The Broncos return to action Saturday, at Idaho State. The match begins at 2 p.m. MT in Pocatello, Idaho.
