BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State swimming and diving teams are back in action this weekend, splitting off for their respective competitions. The swim crew heads to Mansfield, Texas, for the Art Adamson Invitational while the diving unit travels to Flagstaff, Ariz., for the Lumberjack Invitational.

In Texas, the Broncos will compete against host Texas A&M, Arizona State, Incarnate Word, LSU, SMU and TCU beginning at 8:30 a.m. MT Thursday. The swimmers will be in action from Thursday-Saturday, while the divers will compete Friday-Saturday in Arizona. Each meet is the first competition for the swimming and diving teams since the Broncos took first overall at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational in Fresno from Oct. 7-8.

Through Nov. 15, Boise State holds the Mountain West's top times in 10 events, including all five relay events. On the individual side of things, the Broncos own top times in the 50 free (Brittany Aoyama, 22.96), 100 free (Aoyama, 49.86), 500 free (Emma Chard, 4:51.39), 100 back (Ally Kleinsorgen, 56.07) and the 100 fly (Aoyama, 53.46).

Emma Chard picked up six wins of her own as the Broncos topped the leaderboard with 1,002 points, beating a field that included San Diego State, Nevada, Fresno State, San Jose State and CSU Bakersfield.
