What’s Happening The Boise State University swimming and diving team travels to Corvallis, Ore., to compete in a dual meet with Oregon State University, Nov. 10.
The swimmers are slated to hit the water at 6:00 p.m. (PT), at Steven's Natatorium.
“We had some lifetime bests two weeks ago at our first meet, and we will look to have more of those this week,” said Head Coach Kristin Hill. “We will also focus on improving in our race strategy, which is something we’ve been working on in practice.”
The Teams The Beavers (4-5) are ranked No. 25 by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, and finished second and seventh at their last event, the Colleges’ Cup.
“Oregon State is obviously a big challenge for our first year program,” Hill said. “But as with all of our competitions this season, we will continue to focus on individual improvement and great team spirit to help each individual compete well.”
Last Time Out The Broncos debuted their swimming and diving program at a double dual against Northern Colorado and San Diego State, Oct. 27.
Eight individual school records, 16 personal bests and two relay team records were set in 10 events at the Butler-Hancock Pool.
