Boucher Makes Boise State's Olympic Trials Debut

OMAHA, Neb.- Former Bronco Amber Boucher clocked a 1:01.87 to finish second in her heat and 85th overall in the 100-meter butterfly Monday, at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Neb.

Boucher was the only Bronco to compete on the meet's first day. She will race again later in the week in the 100-meter freestyle (Friday) and 50-meter freestyle (Sunday).

Boise State's run at the Olympic Trials continues Tuesday, as rising sophomore Heather Harper will take the pool in the 100-meter breaststroke. Below is the remaining schedule of events for swimmers with Boise State ties. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. (CT) each day. The evening sessions will start at 7 p.m. (CT). Video of every event will be available online or on television. All but the fastest heats of prelims can be seen live at The fastest two to four heats of prelims (depending on the event) will be aired on tape delay by NBC Sports. The evening sessions will be broadcast live on NBC in the Eastern and Central time zones and delayed in the Mountain  (7 p.m.) and Pacific (8 p.m.) time zones.
