AUBURN, Ala.-Boise State placed two swimmers in the top 25 of the 100-yard freestyle on the final day of the 2012 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday, at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center on the campus of Auburn University.

Stephanie North finished 19th in 48.85, while Amber Boucher took 23rd in 48.92. North and Boucher made the last swim of their illustrious collegiate careers together, competing in the eighth heat of the 100 freestyle prelims.

Sydney Johansen took 48th in the 200-yard backstroke, touching in 2:00.67.

Boise State finished 47th at the championships with two points from the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Attention now turns to long-course meters training for the Broncos. Boucher and North, along with three Boise State teammates have already qualified for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials at the end of June, in Omaha, Neb. Johansen and Stevie Hughey, who also participated at the NCAA Championships, are a split second away from earning a trip to the trials and will work toward those time standards in the spring.
