Four Divers To Compete At Zones

    BOISE, Idaho – Boise State divers Cassidy Bose, Kiley Carlson, Karli Kriewall and Kacee Olson will compete at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships this Monday-Wednesday (March 7-9) in Flagstaff, Ariz.

    The meet, hosted by Northern Arizona University, will take place at the Aquatic and Tennis Complex on the NAU campus.

    The women’s side of the competition begins Monday at 11 a.m. with the 1-meter preliminary round. The top 12 divers in the prelims will compete in the finals at 2:40 p.m.

    The 3-meter prelims are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the finals at 2:35 p.m., while on Wednesday the divers will compete on platform beginning at 11 a.m. with finals set for 1:35 p.m.

    The Bronco divers were last in action at the Mountain West Championships in College Station, Texas, from Feb. 17-20. Bose scored for the Broncos in all three diving events, taking ninth on platform (254.70), 12th on 3-meter (278.20) and 16th on 1-meter (236.60). Carlson made the championship final on platform, finishing seventh with a score of 238.90.

    Kriewall, who will make her third-straight appearance at the zone championships, also reached the A final on platform at the meet, taking eighth with a score of 213.45. She also scored on 1-meter, finishing 14th with a score of 244.75. Olson, who also competed at zones last year, made the A final of the 3-meter event, finishing seventh with a score of (308.35) in addition to taking 10th on 1-meter (269.80) and 11th on platform (237.35).
