About the Broncos: Head coach Kristin Hill enters the 2013-14 season with a strong senior class of five, including 2013 Mountain West champion Rachel Heaney (200-yard butterfly). Heaney also competed at the 2013 NCAA Championships in the 200 butterfly. The Broncos will host their last dual meet of the season on Saturday, and will welcome members of the Boise State football team to compete in the annual Big Splash competition. The Bronco divers will head to the Air Force Academy Invitational, Jan. 31-Feb. 1 at the Cadet Natatorium.

Last Time Out: The Broncos downed the Denver Pioneers on senior day last Saturday, winning the dual 167-133. Freshmen Brittany Aoyama and Felicity Cann each set pool records last weekend, in the 100 fly and 200 free, respectively.

Athletes of the Week: Boise State swimmers and divers have garnered a Bronco record ten weekly awards this season. Freshman swimmer Felicity Cann won the first weekly award of the season. Fellow freshman Brittany Aoyama has earned a pair of weekly awards this season. Senior diver Ciera Cortney has won a Bronco record five weekly awards this season, after setting a Boise State record in the three-meter springboard. Cortney garnered the latest accolade for the Broncos, after setting a Boise State record in the 3-meter springboard at the dual meet against Denver on Jan. 25.

At the Summit: Boise State ranks first in five individual events in the Mountain West (200 free, 1000 free, 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 fly). The Broncos hold the top times in three relay events (200 free, 800 free, 200 medley). The orange and blue hold the second-fastest time in the 400 free relay, three-tenths of a second behind SDSU.

About the Beavers: Head coach Larry Liebowitz is in his tenth season as head of the Oregon State swim program. Sophomore distance swimmer Sammy Harrison leads the Beavers with two top-100 times in the nation.

Last Time Out: The Broncos travelled to Corvallis, Ore., last year, where they downed the Beavers 177-85. Devin Madsen won two individual events in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke. She also helped the Broncos claim a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Jessica Bottelberghe notched an individual victory and swam on two winning relays. Bottelberghe earned the win in the 100-yard freestyle and swam the third leg on each winning relay.

Success in the Classroom: The Broncos set a team record for semester GPA in the Fall of 2013. Five Broncos recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA, including Brooke Balogh, Heather Harper, Stevie Hughey, Devin Madsen and Sam Wicks.

Big Splash: The Boise State women's swimming and diving team welcomes members of the Boise State football team for an exhibition diving and relay competition. The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the meet against Oregon State on Saturday, Feb. 1, beginning at noon at the Boise West YMCA. The Big Splash event will take place during the intermission of the swimming events.

Races to Watch:

200-yard Breaststroke
Junior Heather Harper ranks first in the Mountain West and 66th in the nation with a time of 2:14.65. Oregon State's Crystal Kibby ranks 86th in the nation (2:15.72).

500-yard Freestyle
Freshman Felicity Cann ranks fourth in the Mountain West with a time of 4:51.35. Beaver sophomore Sammy Harrison ranks 65th in the nation (4:46.51).
