DENVER, Colo. - Sophomore Amber Boucher earned her second straight WAC Swimmer of the Week award after leading the BRoncos to a dominating victory over in-state rival Idaho. This is the third career weekly award for Boucher and the second this season. Boucher also earned the fifth weekly honor for the Broncos.
Boucher, a sophomore from Keizer, Ore. (McNary HS), swam season bests in both the 100-yard butterfly and 50 free in helping the Broncos to a dual meet win over in-state rival Idaho on Saturday.  Boucher’s time of 23.38 in the 50 free is the fastest by any WAC swimmer this year.  She later broke her own school-record with a time of 55.59 in the 100 fly.  Boucher was also a member of both the 200 medley and 400 free winning relays.
The Broncos will host New Mexico State next Saturday in their home finale. The third annual Big Splash event will also take place during the WAC dual.
