BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State University swimming and diving team will host its second home meet of the 2007-08 season this Saturday, Jan. 19, at the West YMCA in Boise, Idaho. The Broncos will face off against the Aggies of New Mexico State in a two-team dual meet beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The Broncos finally return home after competing on the road the past three months. During January, the swimming and diving team trained in California for a week, competed in the UC Irvine Invitational and battled San Diego State and Nevada in dual meets, now they return home for three straight dual meets beginning with New Mexico State.
“We had a great training and competition trip in California, but we are glad to be back in Boise,” said Boise State’s head coach Kristin Hill. “The team put in a great week of training (in Calif.) and we are ready to compete at our best. We look forward to hosting New Mexico State and anticipate some great racing.”
The meet will feature a variety of individual races, two relays and two diving events (order listed below).
