BOISE, Idaho - Boise State swimming closed out a strong weekend at the Art Adamson Invitational at Texas A&M while Bronco diving placed three in the top 14 of the 1-Meter event at the Wildcat Diving Invitational Saturday.

The three Bronco divers in the top 14 were paced by Erin Kohlbeck's seventh-place effort with a score of 238.60. Sophomore Karli Kriewall topped the consolation final with a score of 244.85 to take ninth overall while fellow sophomore Jordan Marthens posted a score of 227.50 for a 14th-place finish.

"It was another good day today. Jordan, Karli and Erin dived well for the opportunity to compete a second list," said head diving coach John Lynch. " We are ready and excited for our second platform competition of the year tomorrow."

Freshmen Kacee Olson (212.70, 19th) and Kiley Carlson (194.15, 28th)also competed Saturday, while junior Tory Moyer made her collegiate debut, scoring 132.55 to finish 37th.

Out in College Station on the final day of the Art Adamson Invitational, more NCAA B Standards were collected by junior Sam Wicks and sophomore Brittany Aoyama. Both swimmers qualified with B-Standard times for the A final in the 100 free, where Aoyama finished fifth in 49.38, just five-hundredths of a second off her qualifying time of 49.33. Wicks shaved one-hundredth of a second off of her qualifying time, touching the pad in 49.68 to take seventh in the final.

Freshman Emma Chard got her first NCAA B Standard of the season under her belt, clocking a 49.98 in the D final of the 100 free, beating the standard threshold by one-hundredth of a second. Senior Heather Harper posted her second B Standard of the meet, qualifying for the 200 breast A final with a time of 2:14.30 before taking eighth overall in 2:14.52 later on.

Also scoring for the Broncos Saturday night were two 400 free relay teams. The A team of Aoyama, Katelyn Martin, Chard and Wicks finished third overall in 3:18.17, missing a B Standard by just six-hundredths of a second despite posting the third-fastest time in school history. The B team, featuring Monica Bottelberghe, Morgan McClure, Amelia Draney and Jessica Bottelberghe, took 11th with a time of 3:23.86. Boise State had five swimmers score in the 1,650 free: junior Emri Moore (eighth, 16:51.54), senior Megan Myers (12th, 16:59.06), junior Taylor Padington (13th, 17:00.13), junior Blake Balogh (14th, 17:04.56), freshman Amelia Draney (15th, 17:05.00) and senior Emily Blasko (16th, 17:08.60). Freshman Emily Mathis took 13th in the 200 breast with a time of 2:16.55.
