COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Senior Erin Kohlbeck reached the finals of the 3-meter springboard event at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships Monday in Colorado Springs, finishing 17th to pace Boise State's divers.

Kohlbeck totaled a score of 559.80 to finish 17th in the finals, after also placing 17th in prelims with a score of 282.85. Freshman Kacee Olson was 44th in prelims with a score of 233.15 while Jordan Marthens (210.95) and Karli Kriewall (204.75) took 51st and 53rd, respectively.

"It was a rough day today. We had a couple of divers fighting new injuries, which are always hard to deal with near the end of the season, but the shining light today was Erin," said Boise State diving head coach John Lynch. "Erin came in and dove like a Bronco; 12 out of 12 dives up and down. As a coach I always want more, but Erin can definitely be satisfied with the last 3-meter contest of her career."

Kohlbeck was the No. 2 finisher among 16 Mountain West divers, behind only Nevada's Krysta Palmer, who finished fourth with a score of 636.70. Arizona State's Hailey Casper captured the event with a score of 672.30, with Arizona's Samantha Pickens (652.90) and UCLA's Maria Polyakova (646.05) rounding out the top three.

The Bronco quartet will return to action Tuesday for the 1-meter springboard event. The meet concludes Wednesday with platform.
