2015-16 In Review: Academic Success

Broncos set a new athletics department record for cumulative GPA of 3.24.

SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Won Mountain West title with the 400 medley relay, earned three All-Mountain West honors...part of winning 200 and 400 medley relays, took fifth in the 100 breast (1:05.79) and 200 breast (2:22.39) at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational (Oct. 7-8)...made the C Final in the 100 breast (1:04.46) at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 17-19)...part of winning 200 medley relay at Idaho (Jan. 14)...finished second with the 200 medley relay B team, took third in the 200 breast at Wyoming (Jan. 20)...took fifth in the 200 breast against Nevada, Northern Arizona (Jan. 28)...part of Mountain West title-winning 400 medley relay (school-record 3:34.40), posted top-eight finishes in the 100 breast (fourth) and 200 breast (fourth), scored in the 200 IM with 11th-place finish at Mountain West Championships (Feb. 16-19).

FRESHMAN (2015-16): Claimed a Mountain West event title (200 medley relay) and two All-Mountain West honors (200 MR, 400 MR)...was part of the victorious 400 medley relay (3:48.66) and topped the field in the 200 breast (2:20.74) while taking second in the 200 medley relay (1:47.37), 200 IM (2:08.13) against Idaho (Oct. 9-10)...grabbed a win with in the 200 medley relay (1:42.82), took fourth in the 100 breast (1:05.50) and 200 IM (2:09.76, altitude-adjusted), and fifth in the 200 breast (2:24.36, altitude-adjusted) against Utah and Florida Gulf Coast (Oct. 30)...picked up another win with the 200 medley relay team (1:43.45) while taking second in the 100 breast (1:06.81, altitude-adjusted) and fourth in the 200 breast (2:23.84, altitude-adjusted) and 400 IM (4:39.27, altitude-adjusted) at BYU (Oct. 31)...took second with the 200 medley relay (1:42.88) and third in the 100 breast (1:04.97) and 200 breast (2:20.16) at Nevada (Nov. 7)...finished fourth with the 200 medley relay (1:39.79), sixth with the 400 medley relay (3:38.11) at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 19-21)...second with the 200 medley relay (1:44.47) and fourth in the 100 breast (1:06.21) at UC San Diego (Jan. 2)...captured the 200 medley relay (1:43.10) and took fourth in the 200 breast (2:23.31) against Utah and No. 18 UCLA (Jan. 16)...part of winning 200 medley relay (1:42.06) and took second in both the 100 breast (1:04.50) and 200 breast (2:20.41) against Denver (Jan. 23)...swept the 100 breast (1:05.25) and 200 breast (2:20.74) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:42.86) against Oregon State (Jan. 30)...part of the victorious 200 medley relay (1:37.63) and runner-up 400 medley relay (3:35.97), and took sixth in the 100 breast (1:02.45), 12th in the 200 breast (2:17.16) and 13th in the 200 IM (2:03.31).

HIGH SCHOOL: Captured title in the 200 IM (2:05.72) and bronze in the 100 breast (1:05.02) at the 2015 4A Washington State Championships...part of the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams that hold the Kentlake High records in those respective events...captured the 100 breast in 1:05.86 at the 4A West Central District meet...is a multiple-time finalist at the 4A Washington State Championships.
