Broncos Head to CSCAA National Invite

The 2018 MW Champion Boise State Broncos are sending six swimmers to compete at the CSCAA National Invitational at Annapolis, Md.

JUNIOR (2016-17): Earned three All-Mountain West honors (200 breast, 200 IM)...finished fourth in the 200 breast (2:21.36) at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational (Oct. 7-8)...reached the B Finals of the 200 breast and 400 IM, finishing 12th in the 400 IM (4:23.91) and 13th in the 200 breast (2:15.36), made the C Finals of the 100 breast (1:04.71) and 200 IM (2:04.01)...took third in the 200 breast and fourth in both the 100 breast and 200 IM against Utah (Dec. 3)...part of winning 800 medley relay, took fourth in both the 100 breast and 200 IM at UCSD Invitational (Jan. 2)...took third in the 200 breast, fourth in the 400 IM against UCLA, Kansas (Jan. 6)...captured the 200 breast, finished second in the 100 breast, 200 IM, 200 medley relay at Idaho (Jan. 14)...took second in the 200 breast in back-to-back meets at Wyoming (Jan. 20) and at Denver (Jan. 21)...tied for first in the 200 breast, tied for third in the 100 breast against Nevada, Northern Arizona (Jan. 28)...finished third in the 200 breast (school-record 2:12.35), fourth in the 400 IM (4:18.22) and tied for sixth in the 200 IM (2:01.39) at Mountain West Championships (Feb. 16-19).

SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Earned one All-Mountain West honor (200 breast)...finished second in the 200 breast (2:23.41) and 400 IM (4:34.33), and third in the 200 IM (2:08.46) against Idaho (Oct. 9-10)...fourth in the 100 breast (1:06.84) and 200 medley relay (1:48.09) at Nevada (Nov. 7)...took 14th in the 200 breast (2:17.20) and with the 200 medley relay B team (1:44.70), and 18th in the 400 IM (4:26.27) at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 19-21)...finished second in the 200 breast (2:20.66) at UC San Diego (Jan. 2)...took third in the 100 breast (1:05.83) and 200 breast (2:21.90) against Denver (Jan. 23)...finished second in the 200 breast (2:22.62) and 400 free relay (3:33.72) against Oregon State (Jan. 30)...finished fourth in the 200 breast (2:13.34) and 13th in the 400 IM (4:25.89) at Mountain West Championships (Feb. 17-20).

FRESHMAN (2014-15): Earned two All-Mountain West honors (200 breast, 400 IM)...in collegiate debut, scored in the 100 (fifth) and 200 breast (third) against Utah (Oct. 8)...finished second in the 400 IM at Oregon State (Oct. 31)...scored with a 13th-place finish in the 200 breast and 16th place with the 400 medley relay at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 20-22)...captured the 200 breast against Wyoming (Jan. 24)...scored in two events at the Mountain West Championships (Feb. 18-21), finishing sixth in the 200 breast (2:15.15) and seventh in the 400 IM (4:24.71).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Orcutt Academy...captured the CIF Southern Section Division IV 100 breast title in both 2013 and 2014...earned All-America honors for those performances...competed at the 2014 NCSA Junior Nationals...member of the National Honor Society.
